Orientation and Induction Services

Every newly enrolled student receives a guided onboarding experience to help them settle into college life with confidence.

  • Introduce the administrative staff as the main point of contact.
  • Tour the school facilities and student areas.
  • Explain admission requirements, modules, synopses, course duration, and class schedule.
  • Clarify the total fees payable throughout the course duration.
  • Explain student rights, dispute resolution procedures, the fee protection scheme, and the CPE official website reference.
  • Review deferment, extension, suspension, and expulsion procedures.
  • Share education pathways, examination fees, and miscellaneous fee structures.
  • Explain transfer, withdrawal, and refund policies.
  • Brief students on relevant Singapore laws and ICA regulations.
  • Conduct a new student survey on agents where applicable.
  • Acknowledge receipt of the Newton International College Student Handbook.
  • Provide details of the awarding organisation where applicable.

Group Medical Insurance Scheme

International students can refer to the college-arranged medical insurance information and exemption guidance here.

Singaporean and Permanent Resident students may be exempted if they are already covered by their own medical insurance plan.

Newton International College appoints AXA Insurance Singapore Pte Ltd as the medical insurance provider for eligible students.

Accommodation Arrangement

The college supports international students with arrival coordination and practical settling-in assistance.

Administrative staff, sales consultants, or agents may assist with airport pickup and transfer students to hostels recommended by Newton International College.

Students may also receive help with medical check-ups and orientation to nearby banks, MRT stations, and bus stops.

Newton International College also assists international students with Immigration & Checkpoints Authority formalities in Singapore.
